Looking for a nice spot to have breakfast in Milan? I have something for you!
You’re looking for a nice place with a perfect decoration and in a perfect location in Milan? Read on!
On the first day we were in Milan, I saw many people having a coffee at the bar at Motta Milano 1928. This café is located in the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele and gives on the Piazza Del Duomo, which is a very nice, yet touristic area of Milan.
The day after, when we were looking for a place to have a quick breakfast before wandering in Milan, I thought we could try to go there. I didn’t know what to expect and was pleasantly surprised to discover the beauty of this café’s interior.
I’m a huge fan of the retro style – it gives me Gatsby vibes. Therefore, I was delighted to have breakfast in this colorful and graphic atmosphere. Speaking of it, it makes a perfect place for Instagram photos, don’t you think so?
I’m a hot chocolate lover, and honestly, the best hot chocolates I ever had were in Italy. I obviously had high expectations when ordering one here and let me tell you that I wasn’t disappointed. Thick, tasty, sweet but not too much and served really hot, the hot chocolate was delicious!
Regarding the breakfast menu, it offers a diversity of pastries, warm and regular beverages – everyone has a chance to get something they love. Mathew had two croissants, a regular one and one with jam inside, which were both really good! I hardly ever eat in the morning and knew I would be full with my hot chocolate, so I didn’t have anything else.
There wasn’t a lot of people and we were served quite quickly. Even though we went there during the weekend, it was early in the morning, so I guess you can expect it to get busier later.
We had a really nice time there, took a few photos as you can see, and then could start our day in a good mood, with a full stomach and a lot of energy!
If you have any questions regarding this place, let me know in the comments!
Love, Pauline
